WebRT Systems released their FT-5DR programming software today. I don't like having to pay for RT Systems, and that they charge for every new device. You don't need to buy their cable though, just use a uSD card. It works great and has nice UI features similar to CHIRP (copy/paste, paste from GoogleSheets, moving blocks up/down, etc). WebNov 12, 2024 · One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).
