WebJul 18, 2024 · Have a 16 series Martin acoustic with Richlite board. Zero issues with it and it seems to add stability to the neck. I've only adjusted the truss rod once since I've owned the guitar. Not sure if it's the Richlite fingerboard adding to the stability but it sure is durable. WebSome people use lemon oil, linseed oil, distilled water, or fret cleaner from the music shop. I use a cleaner by Fender. The problem is that Richlite is a low end fretboard material, so it's kind of out of place on Custom level guitars. It's just fake wood.
