Privacy Policy

Nothing to collect, because nothing is sent.

IA Clean processes images entirely in your browser. This page explains exactly what that means and what limited data, if any, is involved.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how IA Clean ("we", "our", "the Service") handles information when you use the website. IA Clean is a client-side tool: the core function of the Service — reading and removing metadata from an image — happens entirely inside your web browser, on your own device.

2. Your images are never uploaded

When you select or drop an image into IA Clean, it is never transmitted to our servers or to any third party. The file is read using standard browser APIs, scanned locally for metadata, redrawn onto an in-memory canvas, and offered back to you as a download — all without leaving your device. We do not receive, view, store, or have any access to the images you process.

3. Information we do not collect

  • We do not require an account, email address, or any personal registration to use the Service.
  • We do not store the images you upload, the metadata detected in them, or the cleaned files you download.
  • We do not operate a backend that logs file names, contents, or processing results.

4. Cookies and advertising

IA Clean may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. This processing is carried out by Google under its own privacy policy, not by IA Clean directly.

You can review or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, or through industry tools such as aboutads.info. Disabling personalized ads does not stop ads from appearing, but they will be less tailored to you.

5. Analytics

At the time of writing, IA Clean does not use a dedicated analytics service. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how it is used before the change takes effect.

6. Children's privacy

IA Clean is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the Service does not collect personal information from any user in the first place, this risk is inherently limited.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or for legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
